If you purchased The Elder Scrolls Online through the Bethesda.net website, you will need to redeem your code on the The Elder Scrolls Online'sofficial website and not through Bethesda.net.
To redeem your code and download the launcher, follow the below instructions:
- Go to https://account.elderscrollsonline.com
- Log into your account or create one if you have not made one already.
- Note: Bethesda.net accounts and The Elder Scrolls Online accounts are not linked and have seperate login credentials.
- Once signed in, navigate to 'Redeem Code' on your 'My Account' page
- Enter the code you purchased from Bethesda.net
- Once the code has been entered, a 'Download Game' button will appear on your 'My Account' page.
- Select the 'Download Game' button to start the download of the launcher and game.

To download and install The Elder Scrolls Online after purchasing it from The Elder Scrolls Online PC/Mac Store, you should do the following:
- Log in to your ESO account page.
- On the right side of your account page, click on Download Game to download the ESO Launcher.
- If you do NOT see the Download Game option, this indicates that the account you are logged into does not own a copy of the game from the ESO store.
- Open the ESO Launcher, allow it to update, and then allow it to download and install the ESO game client.
Please note that if you experience an error while installing ESO on your Mac, you should use this alternative installer.
